Sometimes you don't need a project or a long-term relationship. You have a question, a problem, or a situation that needs senior eyes on it fast.

The Simple Version

You contact me. I respond quickly: same day, often within hours. We figure out what you need, agree on a price, and I deliver. No contracts, no minimums, no ongoing commitment.

When This Makes Sense

Emergencies. Production's down, something's broken, and your team is stuck. I've debugged enough systems to recognize patterns quickly.

Second opinions. You're about to make a significant technical decision and want someone to sanity-check it before you commit.

Reviews. Code, architecture, vendor proposals: fresh eyes that aren't invested in the existing approach.

Validation. Someone's making claims about a technology or approach and you want an independent assessment.

What You're Getting

Me, not junior staff, not a sales call that turns into a project pitch. I'm not trying to upsell you into a retainer. If on-demand is what you need, that's what you get.

I'll tell you if I can't help, or if someone else would be a better fit. If your problem needs a different kind of expertise, I'll say so.

Typical Conversations

What You Say What Happens
"Something's broken and we need help now" We get on a call, I dig in, we fix it
"Can you look at this architecture?" I review, I ask questions, I write up findings
"This vendor says their solution does X" I evaluate the claims, tell you what I think
"We're stuck on a technical decision" I ask questions, help clarify tradeoffs

How It Works

Reach out via email, the contact form, whatever works. Tell me what's going on. I'll respond quickly with initial thoughts and a sense of whether I can help.

If it makes sense to proceed, we agree on scope and cost before I start. No surprise invoices.

Then I do the work. You get answers, analysis, code, documentation: whatever the situation calls for.
